Inspire Micro Grants 2023 Now Open

We are delighted to open up a new round of Microgrants in South Tyneside. We have a mixed pot of funding available to encourage all eligible organisations to apply and we’ll match you to the right funding opportunity.

We are delighted to open up a new round of Microgrants in South Tyneside. We have a mixed pot of funding available to encourage all eligible organisations to apply and we’ll match you to the right funding opportunity.

Grants are available up to £1,500

This microgrant programme is also supported by local businesses Dicksons and Colloide

Eligibility Criteria

Project eligibility and themes

  • Do you work in South Tyneside?
  • Is your annual turnover less than £150,000?
  • Do you have an organisational bank account with 2 signatories?
  • Do you have a constitution?

If not, we still welcome proposals but will need to discuss administrative arrangements for payments

Themes – we're interested in proposals that address these issues (across any age groups)

  • Supporting people to take greater responsibility for their own health
  • Supporting people to stay well in their own homes and communities
  • Reducing loneliness and isolation or social disconnection
  • Supporting physical health and wellbeing
  • Supporting mental health and wellbeing
  • Environmental Initiatives
  • Supporting people to engage with the natural world
  • Supporting people living with long term health conditions
  • Alleviating Poverty
