As you will know Hull City Council provide to you the free use of the Hull 4 Funding Community Portal to allow organisations to search for external funding opportunities.
*NEWS*......We are pleased to announce that we (Hull City Council) have re-subscribed to the Hull 4 Funding Community Portal for a further 3 years. The portal is now available to you, for free, until April 2028.
From time to time we send out Surveys. We would be grateful if you could spend 5 minutes to complete these Surveys – the information gathered from the feedback will allow Hull City Council to determine the future resubscription of this portal, in order that we can continue to bring this portal to you for free.

VCS Assembly 13th March, 2025 - Book Your Place
The Hull VCSE Assembly will be taking place:
Date: Thursday 13th March 2025 Time: 10am - 12.30pm
Location: Forum@PQ, Princes Quay, Upper Deck, Hull
Please join for a morning of information sharing, networking, with updates from Hull City Council, Health and the Sector Connect project team. Our mission is for you to have your voice heard, have an opportunity to participate in shared conversations and best practice, and keep up to date with all the changes occurring in Hull.
If you would like a 10–15-minute speaking slot on the VCSE Assembly agenda, please contact Linda Conway linda@nbforum.org.uk and we will get back to you to confirm. We will have a waiting list and ensure that everyone has an opportunity to a speak. Refreshments will be provided, and an overview of speakers and agenda items will be sent out nearer the time.
The venue can be found on the second floor of Princes Quay shopping centre, Unit F16. Once on the second floor, head towards the car park doors and the unit is just on the right with ‘Forum @ PQ’ signs on the outside.
Please note it is only 1 booking per organisation due to Health & Safety restrictions on numbers for the venue.

The Charity Commission have released a new strategy which aims to establish itself as a trusted authority, ensuring fairness, balance, and independence to support the flourishing of charitable endeavours. Their strategy outlines goals and targets for the next five years.

Community Recovery Fund Hull - Deadline Wednesday 19th March 2025 (5pm)
Hull City Council has received £275,000 funding from MHCLG (Ministry of Communities, Housing and Local Government) to support projects that improve community cohesion, in response to the 2024 Summer disturbances. The funding will focus on building connections, addressing local tension and promoting shared values.
Sector Connect are supporting the administration of this grant and are committed to supporting smaller groups or those that might struggle with digital forms or language barriers. VCSE Workforce Mapping Survey - Deadline extended to 28th March 2025
We need your support to map the size and scale of our sector’s workforce:
Humber and North Yorkshire Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Collaborative is working in partnership with the University of York to record, understand and evidence who is part of the VCSE sector workforce across our region.
