VCS Strategic Implementation Group
This group, formally known as the Strategy and Development Group, will develop strategy and work with all of the task and finish groups set up by the voluntary and community sector. Commissioners of services will also work closely with this group.
Strategic Housing Related Support Network
The Strategic Housing Related Support Network formerly known as Supporting People Core Strategy Group is delivering housing related support and it will pick up opportunities for partnership working. Further details shortly.
Health and Well Being
This network of local organisations are the lead group within the voluntary sector working in partnership and developing joint bids on health and social care.
Leisure and Culture
This is a group of voluntary sector organisations who work in partnership to support leisure and culture in Darlington. This includes sports clubs, artists, musicians, dancers to develop a great sector. Further content to be added shortly.
Financial Inclusion
This group works together to provide crisis support, debt advice, affordable credit and includes community groups and private providers working together. Further information to be added shortly.
Community Centre and Friends Groups
This group will work together to support the development of Community Centres in Darlington. It will also support the work of Friends groups that help to look after our parks and green spaces. Further content to be added shortly.
Children Young People and Families
This group will support developments aimed at support for young people and helping families in Darlington. It will include developing joint bids for funding and working with the Local Safeguarding Board and others. Further content shortly.
Employability and Volunteering
This group will support volunteering in Darlington and employability. It will include activities to deliver the Building Better Opportunities Big Lottery programme. Further content to be added shortly.
