HEFCE Publishes Report on Capacity of Higher Education Sector to Support Social Entrepreneurs
28/03/2018
The aim of research carried out by Flourish CIC was originally to help inform the thinking of the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) on the extent to which their investments, through the UnLtd/HEFCE programmes (2009-2015) had an impact and left a legacy. More than £5 million from HEFCE and £3 million matched by the 86 HEIs involved was used to develop a collaborative partnership programme to capacity-build the higher education (HE) sector to be able to find, fund and support social entrepreneurs (SEs) as well as build ecosystems where SEs could thrive.
