UK and EU Agree Brexit Transition Terms

The UK and EU have announced agreement on a "large part" of the deal that will lead to the "orderly withdrawal" of the UK. The planned transitional period will last from 29 March 2019 to December 2020, and is intended to pave the way to a future permanent relationship. The draft Withdrawal Agreement includes agreed legal text for the implementation period, citizens’ rights, and the financial settlement, as well as a significant number of other articles.
