Tampon Tax Fund Opens for UK Applications

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport has announced the £15 million fund will accept applications for grants over £1 million for projects that support women and girls most in need across the UK.
The purpose of the Tampon Tax Fund, which was announced during the 2015 Autumn Statement, is to allocate the funds generated from the VAT on sanitary products to projects that improve the lives of disadvantaged women and girls.
