Welsh Government Launches £3m Foundational Economy Challenge Fund

A fund aimed at developing Wales’ regional economy has been announced, with the aim of ensuring prosperity is shared more evenly across Wales.
The Welsh Government’s Foundational Economy Challenge Fund supports businesses and other organisations that are active in the foundational economy. The foundational economy encompasses business activities that people use every day, eg healthcare, food, housing, energy, construction, tourism and high street retailers.
