Government Announces £9.4m to Retrofit Houses to New Build Standards

Businesses, public and third sector organisations will soon be invited to apply for funding to carry out projects to reduce the cost of retrofitting domestic properties in the UK.
The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has announced details of an upcoming competition to help accelerate a reduction in the cost of retrofitting domestic properties in the UK to the same standard as new builds. The Whole House Retrofit (WHR) Competition will support the government’s ambition of halving the cost of completing this work by 2030.
