Up to €10 Million Available for Digital Pilot to Modernise the Common Agricultural Policy

Applications open for a Large-Scale Pilot demonstrating how cross-border information could simplify the CAP administrative process.

The current infrastructure governing direct payments under the EU's Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) (the Integrated Administration and Control Systems, IACS) includes different realisations across Member States, and contains important amounts of detailed and valuable data. Launched as part of the Horizon 2020 Societal Challenges - Food Security, Agriculture, Marine and Bioeconomy Work Programme for 2018-2020, up to €10 million is available for proposals supporting the further development of the IACS, promoting extensive data and information flows between Member States, the European Commission and various other stakeholders through a Large-Scale Pilot.
