New grant programme now launched!
13/03/2019
Middlesbrough Council launched its new eMpower strategy this week which included news of a new grant fund called 'Community Action Fund'.
Empower is all about supporting the people of Middlesbrough to make where they live a better place!
Empower Middlesbrough is about making the town a better place to live, work and play. It is about ensuring that residents in some of the poorer areas in the town feel part of, and benefit from the regeneration that is already going on.
You don't need to be a constituted group, you don't even need to fill in an application form if you prefer to send in a video or film talking about what you want to do. We want this to be as easy as possible.
We are looking for the people who live in these areas to tell us what they think will make it better. You are the people best placed to know what needs changing and how to change it. You can ask us for some money to help with this from as little as £20 up tp £5000!
The grant panel will meet every month so you shouldn't have to wait too long to hear if they like your idea and are willing to fund it.
Application forms are available from the council website
