Grants of up to £5000 are available for projects, especially those by voluntary and community groups in Middlesbrough, to support the mental wellbeing of Middlesbrough residents.

Mental Health Grant

Grants of up to £5000 are available for projects, especially those by voluntary and community groups in Middlesbrough, to support the mental wellbeing of Middlesbrough residents.

Projects must deliver at least one of the following priorities:

  1. Improve availability and effectiveness of preventative services – this includes information and advice services
  2. Provide timely access to effective, good quality, evidence-based mental health treatment – this is for all ages
  3. Encourage people to adopt healthy lifestyle choices – including adopting the five ways of wellbeing: connect; be active; take notice; keep learning; give
  4. Contribute towards the development of comprehensive rehabilitation and recovery pathways – moving from hospital to independent living
  5. Improve the number of people with mental health problems who are helped into employment – includes support to maintain employment.
