Grants of up to £1,000 are available to voluntary and community groups within Middlesbrough. This is a rolling programme so applications are accepted throughout the year; the grant panel meets to discuss applications on average four times per year.

Applicants must demonstrate that:

• The project/group will benefit the people of Middlesbrough
• The project/group encourages community activity and stimulates participation and involvement
• The project/group compliments the services and priorities of Middlesbrough Council
