03/04/2025
Meet Rachel Boggs, Grants Administrator and find out what it will fund and tips on applying. This session is aimed at organisations based in or supporting communities in Leeds (another session by the Fund will be available to groups in Y&H).
Meet Rachel Boggs, Grants Administrator for the Wharfedale Foundation which makes grants of £500 – £10,000 to organisations with an annual income under £150,000, and grants up to £25,000 to organisations with an annual income of £150,000 to £300,000, operating in Yorkshire and Humber.
There are 3 priority areas:
- breaking down barriers in society;
- integration of marginalised groups;
- tackling disadvantage.
The Foundation is looking for projects that meet at least one of the above aims but do so in a way that not only meets the needs of their community of interest but also brings about wider understanding, integration into society and helps build more social cohesion.
It is also encouraging organisatons to use the funding to help them be more financially secure and sustainable into the future.
The Foundation will fund projects/activities/core and development costs.
The Foundation is spending out and this will be the final grant round. It will be open from 28 April to 30 May 2025 for expressions of interest with eligible organisations invited to submit full applications by 1st August 2025.
Any non-for-profit organisation can apply including registered charities, charitable company’s, CIC’s, voluntary/community/faith organisations (with a constitution).
