Fund to Increase Support for Organ Donations in BAME Communities – Deadline Approaching

A new fund is inviting applications from community groups in England and Wales to dispel some of the myths around organ donation in black, Asian and ethnic minority communities (BAME).

Led by NHS Blood and Transplant, and funded by the Department of Health and Social Care and the Welsh Government, this fund is making around £115,000 available for projects in England and £20,000 for projects in Wales. The budget could increase or decrease depending on the quality of the applications put forward and the number meeting the funding criteria.
