The Department for Education has launched a consultation to obtain feedback on plans to improve the quality of classroom-based higher technical education in England. The ambition is for HTE to be a prestigious choice that delivers high levels of occupational competence, encourages more students to continue to study after completing A Levels or T Levels and attracts workers of all ages looking to upskill and retrain.
