European Commission Announces Initial ‘No Deal’ Brexit Contingency Action Plan

The European Commission has published a communication implementation its “no deal” Brexit Contingency Action Plan. The plan has been published following a communication by the European Council on 13 December 2018 that stressed that the Withdrawal Agreement and Political Declaration were ‘not open for renegotiation’ and called for the Commission to ‘intensify’ preparations into ‘all possible outcomes’.
