Treasury Review to Examine Barriers for Women in Business

On 21 September 2018, Robert Jenrick, Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury launched a review into barriers for women in business. While the UK is one of the best places in the world to grow a business, women are half as likely as men to be involved in starting one. This environment has led to only one in five small and medium-sized employers being run by women – creating a significant pool of untapped entrepreneurial potential.
