How Will Brexit Impact on the International Appeal of UK Universities?

Just over two years ago, I questioned whether the UK’s position as a popular destination for international higher education students was under threat. Despite remaining the second-most popular destination for international students, a number of factors including reduced Government funding, the rise of rival countries such as China and Malaysia and a perception that the UK was becoming more unwelcoming towards international students all pointed towards an increasingly uncertain future for the UK’s dominant position in the student market.
