Scottish Government Launches £4 Million Fund to Prevent Homelessness

The Scottish Government has launched a £4 million fund to support pilot projects that trial the new ‘ask and act’ approach outlined in the Housing (Scotland) Bill, which is currently under consideration by the Scottish Parliament. This approach would require public bodies to take reasonable steps to prevent homelessness. The Fund is being administered by Advice Direct Scotland.
