Resourcing Scotland's Heritage

This all day course is on 11th February at Drumlanrig Castle. Resourcing Scotland’s Heritage is a Scotland-wide training programme designed to provide the heritage sector with the vital skills needed to increase fundraising income from private sources. The events are open to everyone working and volunteering in the heritage sector.

Drumlanrig Castle, Thornhill

9:15am – 5pm

Cost: £20

This one-day course will raise awareness of the various funding sources available to heritage organisations and projects. It will help you target the private sources of funding best suited to the work you want to do and outline the best practice methods of approach.

The event covers: - Individual Giving - Developing your Case for Support - The Seven Steps of Giving - Making the Ask - How to say ‘Thank you’ - A look at resources, tools and techniques

Together we will spend some time sharing experiences and concerns and discuss possible solutions within facilitated networking sessions
