European Social Innovation Competition - 2015 Competition to be Launched in March.
The 2015 edition of the European Social Innovation Competition will be launched on 23 March 2015.
The European Social Innovation Competition was first launched in 2012 in memory of the social innovator Diogo Vasconcelos, and aims to help participants to develop new solutions to social or societal issues and to create growth and jobs.
The 2015 competition will be launched in Gdansk, Poland on 23 March 2015 with the theme of 'New Ways to Grow'. Further information about the rules and timeline of the competition will be available following the launch.
The competition gives participants the chance to:
- Develop a great idea.
- Bring more legitimacy to their work.
- Make their solution accessible to more people.
Three winning projects will be awarded financial support of €50,000.
Registration to attend the launch event is now open; however, tickets are limited.
