Department of Health User Led Organisation (ULO) Development Programme workshops
02/06/2011
A chance to find out more, get involved and share your views on the User Led Organisation (ULO) commissioning development programme:
What’s a ULO? For a definition, please visit http://www.scie.org.uk/publications/guides/guide36/understanding/what.asp “Just because an organisation works with service users does not mean that it is a ULO.”
Details from Trudi Wright:
“The JIP Community Capacity Building project is sponsoring a series of workshops in June / July 2011 to support and link into the Department of Health’s Regional ULO Development Programme.
The programme has 4 work streams which may be of interest to local authorities across the region and established, new or emerging ULO’s.
“These are:
- Establishment of a support network
- Design and delivery of a ULO commissioning development programme
- 2 x grant aid funds for pilot case studies
“These sub-regional workshops will be giving more detail about the 4 x work streams and starting to capture issues to inform the commissioning development programme.
