Overview

Hosted in the iconic Grade 1 listed Hull Minster, Hull Social Enterprise Fayre will showcase the products and services currently on the market that create social value. A soapbox speaker stage will be available for people to talk about their product or service. There will be a talk in the evening once the Minster has closed to the public with complimentary snack food & a glass of wine.

Goals

1.Inspire people to take action in solving issues through social enterprise

2.Support people to create self-sustaining social enterprises

3.Inform people of social enterprise products and services and their value

4.Create opportunities for social enterprises and charities to network.

Soapbox stage

Kiosk holders and other social enterprise participants will be able to get on the stage and talk about their product and its purpose for 10 minutes.

Popup market

Social enterprises with products will have an opportunity to sell food & drink and network

Sector support

Information stalls for social enterprise bodies, social funding organisations and ancillary services to the sector

Evening programme

Several social entrepreneurs from different backgrounds will talk about the products and services they’ve created, their impact, and how they got a start in trading.
