Funding Announced to Improve Mental Health and Wellbeing in Scotland

A £15 million fund to support adult community-based initiatives across Scotland will open soon to applications.
The Scottish Government has launched a £15 million fund to support mental health and wellbeing in communities across Scotland. The Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund will tackle the impact of social isolation and loneliness, whilst addressing mental health inequalities exposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, such as the disproportionate impact of Covid-19 on Black and Minority Ethnic communities, people from LBGTQ+ communities and other marginalised backgrounds.
